The roofing company ie Gary and his team rescued us from the jaws of terror. First time we have used the company. Very professional, very knowledgeable with a rare quality of honesty and believability. They had some real challenges that they took over from the previous company. Throughout all of this, they explained everything which was genuine, which demonstrated their experience and vast expertise. They were quick, efficient and fundamentally the outcome was delivered to a first class standard. I would like to thank Gary and his team for making me feel that the structure is now safe. secure and solid, something that was not achieved previously. I would highly recommend the roofing company. I'm very happy to recommend Gary and The Roofing Company. We used them for some repairs to the ridges on our house and guttering. We received quotes and spoke with 3 companies. Gary immediately inspired much more confidence in what needed to be done and why and provided a reasonable quote for the work. The work was done on time with good communication about when the scaffolding would come up and down, and when they would be doing the works and it appears well done. (I won't pretend to really know not being a roofer!) There was one small problem post work and payment and Gary had two people out within 48 hours to fix the problem. All in all a very good service and we will return to The Roofing Company if we ever need further roof work again. ~ Robert A

After needing a new roof during Covid and giving the job to someone I saw working locally, I was amazed and very upset to have coping and cement fall down with no prior warning damaging my neighbour’s property. It was a miracle no-one was hurt. I needed urgent advice and help and Gary provided that immediately. He explained exactly what the problems were, secured the roof so there was no danger to passers by and arranged for his team to be onsite immediately. They were obviously all very experienced because they did a fantastic job repairing the roof and putting it in the position it should have been left in by the original roofers. They were polite and respectful of my property. All done at a reasonable price too. I will definitely be using them again. ~ Fleur L

Great service from Gary and his team. I had an old and leaky asbestos garage roof replaced with brand new felt roof along with some cosmetic work to damaged tiles. Gary was very informative and responsive, and his team were utterly professional. They were friendly, turned up and finished on time (took just 2 days) and had no complaints whatsoever, even when working in the freezing cold. Am very pleased with the finished job and highly recommend working with the Enfield Roofing Company. Not often you get as much honesty, transparency and hard work as I did from this team (Gary even sourced some tiles to match our 70 year old roof perfectly, meaning I didn’t have to fork out for brand new tiling nor do I have a patchy tiling job). We initially called Gary regarding a guttering issue; spare of the moment we asked his advice on a new roof for the conservatory. Immediately we were impressed by his professionalism, transparency and honesty when providing a quote. Called The Roofing Co. Enfield about my leaking chimney, Gary arrived first thing the next day and did an inspection and put my mind at rest. He explained clearly what he thought needed doing and made some suggestions to reduce future maintenance. Sent over a quote the same day and answered some further questions. The work was done the next week, very efficient, workers were cheerful, polite and very tidy, worked quickly and cleared up after themselves. They took pictures of the condition of the roof, problems they'd detected and the work they'd done and Gary explained what they were doing as they went along. All with the minimum of fuss. Was so grateful to have these repairs done quickly. Chimney stacks were reduced, flashing repaired, cracked tiles replaced and gutter re-aligned. I'd definitely recommend them. ~ Isobel W

I used Gary and the Roofing Company to do some repairs to the roof of my lean-to, which was leaking, replace some of the guttering and remove an annoying satellite dish. It's tough finding people to do work at the moment but Gary was swift - he came over straight away to do an assessment, gave a quote and did the work just over a week later. He was knowledgeable and good at communicating what needed doing and why. It was great he could do it so quickly. He has a big team working for him and the whole job was done in one day. My job required scaffolding but that was no problem. Gary was really good at communicating who would be coming and when and responded very quickly to any queries. After they had left I noticed a stray cable and Gary sent someone round to remove it within half an hour. Very happy with the work. ~ Kathryn M

Our roof needed an immediate complete rebuild following damage sustained (5-bedroom semi detached property) Gary and his team were able to assess the roof, provide a quote and start work in a timely fashion. Gary was able to advise the work required, and made several important recommendations. The entire team were incredibly polite and diligent throughout the entire project. They kept me informed of the status throughout with daily photos. The team were happy to came back after the work was complete to resolve some minor matters. Gary who was in charge of the work was absolutely fantastic. Not only was he professional, what stood out was his clarity on the job as to what was to be done, his honesty and his communication with us, be it by e-mail, text or a phone call, he notified us at all times as to the progression of the job each day. Nobody else we have had (and we've had a few) has ever been so on the ball as he was with us. Photos were sent before, during and after the job. His team were also professional and respectful and worked hard even down to the scaffolding Service (JAB). I didn't even have to chase up the warranty given for the job, it was handed to me on cpmpletion. I will recommend them 100%! ~ Tony P

I found this company on Google after a horrible job was done to my roof and gutter by dodgy so-called builders. Gary's business is so reputable and also busy with work, but on the day I called Gary he found the time to come to my property and assess what needs to be done. His team started work the day after next and completed the job far quicker than the dodgy builders - and the quality of work from Gary's team was far better. Staff are friendly, honest and professional - you could not feel more confident and reassured with this team doing work for you. Finlock (concrete gutters ) which needed to be relined. I approached a few companies on check-a-trader but they either did not get back to me or said the job was too difficult. Called the Roofing Company and had a prompt response. Gary was obviously familiar with what needed to be done as it is an Enfield based company n they have done this type of work often. Reasonable price , rapid response , friendly , polite workmen. Scaffolding organised from a firm that was super efficient.Job done within a day. Looking at the work done it seems good although I am no expert. 15 year guarantee so assume the company must be confident with the quality of their work. So far very happy. I know our roof will need doing soon and as it stands this company will be my first choice - so many horror stories of cowboys I will feel relieved if there is a firm I can go to with confidence ~ Iain

I hired The Roofing Company after many recommendations from the neighbourhood. I found Gary to be knowledgeable, professional and knew straight away what I needed done. I also noticed his comments about my roof damaged matched what I have been told in the past so I trusted his judgement. On the follow up to the work date, Gary answered all my questions and took the time to explain to me what will happen and what to expect. On the day of the works being carried out, Gary and his team were prompt and finished on schedule. My job also came with a guarantee certificate. I reached out to The Roofing Company to have a flat roof leak investigated. Previously I had it reviewed by 3 other roofing companies and was given varying degrees of feedback ranging from quick fixes, to having the entire flat roof and pitched roof redone. Gary popped over with his team, assessed the roof and reported back to me with the issue with the correct course of action. The advice was that there was no issues with the pitched roof and that the flat roof was worn and need replacing. The team stripped the flat roof back to the OCB (where they confirmed that the OCB did not need replacing as it was in great shape. The team progressed with stripping the existing felt and fitting the new torch of felt. Absolutely great service from start to finish and Gary and his team have been fantastic to work with. They also replaced the felt on the exterior outhouse. Overall 10/10 and will be using again for any future roofing issues. ~ Amrish A

I would recommend Gary and the roofing company for roofing works, and would use the team again in the future. We had a small leak with water coming into our property: the part of the roof causing this wasn't obvious. We struggled when getting quotes from other firms who over-quoted and included works that weren't needed, for what turned out to be a relatively minor repair job. Gary was completely professional and gave us good pragmatic advice using his drone to show us aerial footage of the roof. The repair works were done within a few days of us first making contact, and several months on there has been no reoccurrence of the leak. ~ Thomas S

We realised that we needed the pitched roof and a flat roof replacing. Gary was very prompt with a quote and a start date, seven days ahead was agreed. The work started as scheduled. The work continued without interruption and was completed in about six days. The guys that did the work were some of the best trades I've ever had working on the house. They worked steadily and considerately throughout. They and Gary were always ready to answer our questions pleasantly and accurately. I needed a flat rood replaced to prevent a leak and to fix a fairly shoddy previous job. Gary was extremely responsive throughout our interactions, always letting me know well in advance when things were rained off and always very conscientious of allowing me to plan my day around him. On the day Gary and his team arrived on time and cracked on with the job. They were very nice guys, I felt confident in their abilities and we now have a very nice flat roof. Gary and team arrived to fix a leaking flat roof on a rear storey extension. Gary explained that the fibre glass product I had on the roof was prone to cracking and leakage. He recommended it was covered with a primer, underlay and felt. Due to the urgency, Gary arranged for the work to start within days and took 2.5 days start to finish and this included navigating around tricky spaces caused by 4 large sky lights (46 sq m in total). The edging by the house was finished off nicely with lead flashing. Very impressed. All very professional and efficient. I would certainly recommend the Enfield Roofing Co. ~ Eamonn K

Gary gave a very good, fair quote prior to starting the project, the quote never changed. There were no hidden extras, that I was later charged for. I wasn't asked to pay for any thing upfront or during the project until the project had been completed & I was happy. This provided instant piece of mind. The Roofers: They were all great, professional, on time & daily turned up to do a brilliant job. In particular was George. George is a true grafter, I never saw him stop even when it was raining. He appeared determined to make sure that my roof(s) were repaired to a professional standard, leak proof & safe. Thanks George. On a final note: It can be difficult to trust when you have been a victim of rogue roofers as I have recently. Gary & his team made me feel confident again. I am very grateful for that. Called The Roofing Company when one of the chimneys on our three-story house started to lean. They arranged the scaffolding and provided a fix which included resetting pots on one stack and repointing another. Also used the scaffolding to have the outside of the house painted at the same time to maximise the sunk cost. Three weeks after finishing the job they sent a couple of their guys back make a small repair on a flat roof which they included at no extra charge on the initial job. Although the company is very busy Gary always returns messages. Happy that my Chimneys are now safe! ~ Simon K

I originally reached out to Tony and the team to get 2nd opinion on a roofing job for my father's property, as I was concerned the first vendor was not trustworthy. Tony came around within two days and advised us of the issue we could encounter as he made us aware that some vendors would pray on the elderly and explained what needed to be done. He got us a quote over and was already saving my father several thousand pounds. From the quoting process to the completion of the new roof Tony and the team have been fantastic and have shown real professionalism and great customer care towards my father. Excellent srvice. I was undecided about what, how and when to renew my roof as I have been living at my address for 38 years. Gary gave me a professional idea on how to deal with and eventually how to make my mind up and there was no pressure. I have my roof and flat roof renewed and the loft made into a storage area. And had The fascia board and guttering renewed The professionalism of the crew was excellent and I am very pleased with the finished work.
